Chocolate Almond Butter Toaster Cheesecake

Do you ever get that craving for a little something extra sweet? You may have had a healthy dinner and a nice little dessert but you feel like you want something more. Well, I get that feeling pretty much everyday so I try to fill my belly and satisfy my sweet tooth with nourishing but delicious foods.

Here's a recipe that fits that request! Healthy but still sweet and even a bit creamy. This is a variation of my Toaster Cheesecake which I love because it has all the cheesecake flavour without too much of the "bad" stuff. If you're someone who doesn't like cheesecake(!) this recipe may also be for you because it's not nearly as sweet or rich as regular cheesecake. If you're someone who loves cheesecake then you'll also love this recipe because it's quick and easy enough to make everyday.

Chocolate Almond Butter Toaster Cheesecake

1/2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tbsp cream cheese
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
Few drops of water
Drizzle of agave*

1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and spread on a slice of bread

2. Place bread into your toaster oven and toast for about two to three minutes or until bread is lightly browned.

3. Set your toaster rack into the upper third part of the toaster and turn on to broil.

4. Broil for about another two minutes or until the cream cheese has baked into a more solid layer.

Do you like cheesecake? What is your favorite kind?

  10. Greetings. This is my first time on your blog, but you have a terrific one. I am always on the look out for new blogs, new ideas. I especially appreciate all the details you d0. Great photos makes it seem like anyone can replicate the recipe! Especially we are in need of specialty diets (like Vegan). They are among the most searched for recipes.

I am asking, would you please consider posting a few of your favorite recipes on erecipecards.com

It is a tool for bloggers to see and to be seen. Your posts would fit in perfectly.

in addition, all photos, recipe titles as well as your blog name would link directly back to your blog. Thus giving you new attention and potentially new readers.

Or, if you just want to take a look at a lot of fellow food bloggers all in one place. A great learning experience to get ideas about how to establish your own blogging voice!
